Joe Biden and Jill Biden to join 'The View' for 1st joint interview since leaving the White House

Former President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden will appear on ABC's "The View" on Thursday for their first joint interview since leaving the White House.
The pair will join the co-hosts live in-studio to discuss life post-presidency, the Democratic Party's losses in 2024, and the current political landscape as President Donald Trump passes the 100-day mark of his second term.
The Bidens have kept a relatively low profile since leaving Washington in January, though the former president is beginning to ratchet up his public appearances.
Joe Biden's first major speech since departing the White House came last month in Chicago, when he rebuked the Trump administration's approach to Social Security, accusing officials of "taking a hatchet" to the agency and more broadly causing "so much damage" to the federal government. Biden has appeared occasionally since.

(158,618 posts)I think they (along with Harris) gave it "6 months" so they wouldn't become the "Squirrel!!!!!" to the media, who is quick to pivot to attacking Democrats whenever some new insanity comes out of 45's dysfunctional and craven administration.

I am a mongrel mix of central/eastern European whatever, and had the good fortune to be raised under no religion at all. Our children, as well as my wife, have joined me in the none of the above category. When the priest in their village had to flee due to his molesting of local children, my wife retired from religion altogether. Her parents didnt, but were enlightened enough to understand her reason for leaving, and never tried to force her to return.

(66,892 posts)baptized in one of those dunking pools in the church. He was told he could stay at home only until he graduated from high school, so he was on his own for a long time before he met and married my mother. Her mother was something called a "theosophist." It was some merging of Christianity and a religion of India, probably as a result of Britain's imperialism in that country. My grandmother did a wicked impression of Billy Graham, a young preacher in Texas at the time.
