India says it attacked nine sites in Pakistan, Pakistani Kashmir

Source: Reuters

MUZAFFARABAD, Pakistan/NEW DELHI, May 7 (Reuters) - Multiple loud explosions were heard in several places in Pakistan and Pakistani Kashmir on Wednesday as India said it had attacked "terrorist infrastructure" in nine sites and Pakistan vowed to respond to the attacks.

After the explosions, power was blacked out in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistani Kashmir, witnesses said. It was not immediately clear what the explosions were.

"A little while ago, the Indian armed forces launched ‘OPERATION SINDOOR’, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed," the Indian government said in a statement.

The 2025 Pahalgam attack was an attack on non-Muslim tourists by five armed militants near Pahalgam in the Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir in which 26 civilians were killed on 22 April 2025.[2][5][6] The militants mainly targeted Hindu tourists, though a Christian tourist and a local Muslim were also killed in the attack.[2][7][8] The attackers, armed with M4 carbines and AK-47s, entered the tourist spot in Baisaran Valley surrounded by dense pine forests.[9] This incident is considered the deadliest attack on civilians in India since the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Kashmir is a very beautiful scenic place but not safe. Tourists are a target unfortunately.

to work on a massive escalation between two nuclear powers. However, he is busy helping run a foreign gulag and canceling student visas.

I have no confidence in Trumpian diplomacy. Maybe he and Musk can come out with an AI video on a future “Trump Kashmir Casino”.

New War for the Turd to stop now that the Turd has brought "peace" to Gaza and Ukraine. Come on, Turd, that Nobel Peace Prize is almost here for you. Don't let this "negotiating" opportunity pass you by. Oh, wait! Better send lil Marco or that half-wit real estate developer you sent to Russia.

If we had a president that was worth a damn he would have been doing his best to calm the situation. Meanwhile our lunatic-in-chief has been busy staging gold plated news conferences and texting crazy shit about Alcatraz in the wee hours.

Good night and good luck

13. A nuclear war between them would cause a global famine

Long story short: a nuclear cooling event that lasts 5-10 yr and destroys global grain production across the Northern Hemisphere.

https://news.climate.columbia.edu/2020/03/16/even-limited-india-pakistan-nuclear-war-would-bring-global-famine/

"“Even this regional, limited war would have devastating indirect implications worldwide,” said Jonas Jägermeyr, a postdoctoral scientist at the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies who led the study. “It would exceed the largest famine in documented history.”"

This is one of if not the top hotspot in the world and in the past we've gone into diplomatic overdrive to get in there and cool it down. We're talking a potential instantaneous war with over 2 million troops ready to go. This has always been the number 1 spot with the biggest potential for nuclear war. Kegsbreath and Krasnov probably don't even know where this is. This is nuts. FatAss has emboldened Modi.
