Albertville mayor coasts to re-election

ALBERTVILLE, Ala. — Albertville's city government will remain in place after today's election, with all of the incumbents holding onto their seats.

Current mayor Tracy Honea coasted to victory with 74% of the vote over his challenger Justin Ennis. This will be Honea's fourth term as mayor.

The city council will also remain in place with incumbents Ben McGowan (Place 1), Jill McBrayer Oakley (Place 2), Charles Bailey (ran unopposed, Place 3), Ray Kennamer (Place 4) and Nathan Broadhurst (Place 5) all winning.

Broadhurst's race was the closest, with a 53%-47% win over challenger Miguel Corona.
