And (just generalizing here... lol), I have found that when people live a life where deprivation, insecurity, and worry are near constant companions, it tends to make them more empathetic towards others... not sadistic. I've always been a Democratic Party supporter, but back when NJ had a loophole in their primary system I voted on our column listed under GOP as my affiliation. I voted in the 1988 primary for Jesse Jackson. My hometown was predominately minority so I listed GOP in solidarity with my brothers and sisters who still registered that way due to our party harboring racists before the 70s. I switched that registration when I registered in NYC in 2008. I tend to dress slightly conservative so sometimes people assume I am politically conservative. I merely like collared shirts and it helps me to blend in doing IT consulting. I was always anti-racist and my economics degree made it clear progressive taxation is needed due to the physics of a wealthy person being unable to spend money locally with anywhere near the velocity of a working class person. I hate when Adam Smith gets put up as being some kind of libertarian supporter when he clearly advocated for steeply progressive taxes, strict regulation on banks as well as constraining corporations when used to collude and impede competition.

This gives data for Republicans and the percent who are MAGA by various demographics. When you look at this, you will see that it is pretty even in terms of GenZ, Millennial, GenX and Boomers in terms of age groupings.

See, we always have to look at the weight of bot and troll propaganda. This is sophisticated and there are many players, but I am seeing many more blame the boomers kinds of posts on social media. This is because Wall Street wants the Social Security trust fund. Look at what the snake Mike Johnson just said about cut, cut, cut, cut on Social Security.

The problem is that years of irresponsible 'supply side' or 'trickle-down' tax cuts for billionaires and corporations has made it so our treasury no longer has the money to support programs that actually benefit American families at their kitchen table.

Consider the Medicaid cuts in the disgusting ugly bill. All over the US, we are seeing rural assisted living and memory care centers as well as hospitals having to close because most of their revenue came from Medicaid billing to the federal government.

See, this is ALL and ALWAYS about shareholder PROFITS for Wall Street and modern Epstein-class robber barons lining their pockets at ALL OF OUR EXPENSE.

Remember please that divide and conquer is an age-old tried-and-true strategies for the robber barons to make us hate each other instead of seeing how they are screwing us.
