Get This!! The USPS is appealing the ruling against them that orders they cannot

refuse to mail ballots regarding Trump's executive order. This is the order that mandates that the Post Office cannot deliver your mail ballots if your state has not submitted their voter roles.

Postal Services appeals court order blocking Trump’s anti-mail voting order

The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has asked a federal court to pause its order blocking the implementation of President Donald Trump’s executive order against mail voting as it appeals the ruling.

Meanwhile, Democratic elected officials are urging the USPS not to move forward with the order, warning that doing so will make it harder for states to smoothly administer the upcoming midterms.

In a filing Monday, the federal government argued that unless the court grants a stay, the “sweeping injunction” will “severely disrupt USPS’s efforts to potentially promulgate a final rule” fulfilling Trump’s March 2026 order ahead of November’s midterms elections.

I mean WTF??? When did the post office become an arm of The White House and the Republican Party?? They are claiming "irreparable harm" in their appeal. So afraid this will end up on the Shadow Docket at the Supreme Court.

Also see this video. Harry Littman breaks it down.

When Trump installed Louis DeJoy as the head of it. That may not be who is in charge of it now, but that's when it started.

Postal carriers have been screaming about it for decades. At this point most of the competent postal carriers have retired or quit. The newer ones are beyond unqualified. The goal is to piss so many people off that they beg for the USPS to be privatized.

Maine letter carriers say Collins paved the way for Trump’s attack on postal service

Years before the Trump administration began instituting cost-cutting measures that has created a national slowdown in mail delivery, Sen. Susan Collins sponsored legislation that Maine letter carriers now say manufactured a financial “crisis” in the U.S. Postal Service that has been used ever since to justify calls for privatization.

In 2005, Collins introduced the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act (PAEA). In 2006, it became law and required the post office to pay for retirement healthcare benefits for workers 75 years into the future. No other federal agency or private corporation has been saddled with such a massive pre-funding mandate.

And this is authoritarianism. It's not to the point where an 80-year old with dementia can get away with whatever he wants, but he can order accomplices to do improper or illegal things just to see if anyone will tire of stopping him.

Remember when DeJoy was removing postal equipment, laying off employees and whatever he can do to interrupt mail-in voting? 6 years later, he’s still here. I guess everybody forgot. 😔

They will have to cancel all mail to stop that from being delivered. Otherwise they are stealing from us and not providing a service for the money we already spent.

It originated in Daytona Beach, Florida and, in a couple of days, made it up to New Hampshire to the hub where they sort mail to be sent to my little post office. It's about 50 miles away from me tops. This morning I checked the tracking to see if the package was delivered to my post office and astonishingly it was flown back to Florida and was in Orlando. Since then, it's departed Orlando to heaven knows where. The last thing we need is the post office involved in voting.

For as long as I’ve been alive. It a well established part of the electoral system. For most people in the U.S. the USPS delivers more than mail. Sounds like you’re talking about a package, correct? Would you prefer Bezos and Amazon deliver all medications to women, for example? Not having the option of voting by mail is exactly what Trump wants. As is having the voter rolls in every state. Why? He wants to know exactly where he needs to physically harass and intimidate voters. How many people are terrified at the prospect of being harmed if they even try to vote? This is how fascism works.
