This is not the first rodeo for most states dealing with election interference and disruption. Many states are collaborating and war gaming various scenarios.

The states have fought back effectively against election interference in many recent elections, with negative consequences for the evildoers- just ask Tina Peters, Rudy Giuliani, Kari Lake, and John Eastman, among many others.

Here is why any attempt to “strategically” deploy ICE in every precinct in every tossup state will fail:

1. They simply don’t have enough agents. The swing states are generally considered to be MI, PA, WI, MN, GA, NC, NV, ME and AZ. This year, for the senate, AK, TX, OH, IA, and NE must be also considered toss up states (IIRC, IA, AK, and OH are officially rated as “toss up” by Cook).

That’s 13 states, with tens of thousands of precincts. Even if ICE assigned just ONE agent per precinct, they wouldn’t have enough.

And they won’t be able to select “strategic” blue precincts to target with their limited number of ICE agents…why?

2. Over the past 18 months, in actual election results in places like FL, GA, and TX, in districts that Trump won by +20 points in 2024 , Democrats have been over performing by 15-30 points, winning the vast majority of these races, and coming too close for Republican comfort in the rest.

Under those conditions in DEEP RED DISTRICTS, it will be impossible to “strategically target” precincts to disrupt without risking compromising races Republicans have a chance of winning.

Could every toss up state do something like pass a bill that would FORCE every person (especially ICE persons) entering any precinct show Identifications. (not talking about removing masks, because we need a way of IDENTIFYING them, IF lawsuits are needed. I would love to see this announced to the public BEFORE November. THAT would be part of my plan if, like you asked what would be my plans. We need to do something that gives us complete control of our precincts. I'm sure secretaries of states would appreciate any power we will give them to do their job.

The authority to run elections comes from the constitution, and beyond that it is up to each state to create the rules of how they do that.

There are already laws on the books against disrupting elections- like if you or I entered a polling place, wearing masks, interfering with people trying to vote.

There aren’t enough ICE agents to affect the outcome of enough races (there are hundreds just for congress alone, and interfering with them would also affect state level races, like for governor) to keep republicans in control.

I understand the sentiment, but where does it end? From now until November PEDO-TUS will be trying to scare and intimidate certain voters. Seizing past ballots has already been a reality as a show that his thugs can pull it off. So should we not drop our ballots off since he may try to seize those too? Should we not vote at all since he's threatened to put his paramilitary at polling stations.
