Women Who Fled Iran Are to Be Deported to Central African Republic, Lawyers Say
The women are among nearly two dozen people slated to be sent to a country where the U.S. government has advised “Do not travel for any reason.”

The Trump administration is preparing to deport nearly two dozen people to the Central African Republic on Thursday, including at least two Iranian women who had sought refuge in the United States, according to lawyers and a government official.

The flight, which is also expected to include migrants from Afghanistan and Syria, would mark the first such deportation to the Central African Republic, a deeply impoverished country that has been plagued by conflict. The country is so dangerous that the U.S. State Department states on its website, “do not travel for any reason.”

At least some of the migrants have received court orders in the United States prohibiting their deportation to their home countries because of the threat of persecution or torture, their lawyers said. Migrants face a higher burden of proof to win this “withholding of removal” status than they do to qualify for asylum.

These people came here as refugees and their refugee status was approved. Deportation to their home countries was already blocked because they would face persecution.

For what reason do they have to be deported now and why to such a horrible country?

These women have been exposed to threats and violence that most likely is beyond our imagination and yet somebody in this Administration is taking it upon themselves to somehow, make it worse. I think it safe to say it's a misogynistic male that has a particular hate of non white Americans that is getting off on the fear these women are experiencing. Clearly a maniacal twisted sociopath that loves the power of causing that.

We need to seek that person out as though he is a war criminal. One, to expose them for what they are and two, to pursue prosecetorial options. I know most of us probably assume it's Rat Face Miller or the Felon himself but we should know for sure. My money is on Rat Face.

Contact organizations like the ACLU and SPLC to ask what suits can be filed to obtain a judge's order to halt this.
