Taxpayer subsides for farmers through the FSA program to get their votes...

I do not ever want to hear about the "welfare programs" for the poor - it is bullshit. I am against fossil fuel subsides (maybe the most profitable business on the planet) or business subsidies of any kind because it never "trickles down" to taxpayers.

Farm subsidies are nothing new, and definitely not partisan because they have tied SNAP benefits to the Farm Bill to make it more palatable for most taxpayers, but most people do not realize what they really are....

Independent audits of the system point out that while the programs are pitched as a way to save the "family farm," the majority of these federal dollars actually go to the largest, most financially secure agribusinesses. This creates an uneven playing field, forcing taxpayers to continuously support highly profitable mega-farms regardless of market conditions.

Farm Service Agency USDA's Farm Service Agency (FSA) is providing $12 billion through a one-time bridge payment to American farmers.... Is this a Loan? The FBA Program is not a loan. It is a government subsidy payment that farmers get.
