2027 -- Will prospective Republican presidential candidates

step aside if Trump announces his candidacy for a third term?

How can they raise money for their campaigns with this specter hanging over them?

He will not appear in any state’s 2028 ballot, primary or general.

There are dozens of republicans waiting in the wings for 2028.

Even among those elected republicans not considering a run in 2028, many want to be rid of him.

My thought has always been someone will emerge who will say they will run but if elected they will install Trump to the cabinet who will be the de facto President and they will just remain as figure head to get around the constitution.
