Couldn't access DU in Cape Town

I'm on an Africa trip, South Africa being our first country. When I tried accessing DU, it said "403 Forbidden".
I'm now in Zambia and its seems OK here. So I missed out on a whole week of DU!
Still not sure why that happened. Google says it may be a server issue but I've not had a problem before.

I had been locked out of DU for many-many months, noted by the 403 Forbidden message.

After (Google) research, this notification is a server situation, the server sees you, but for some unknown(secret) reason it will not accept your credentials (?).

I was finally able to log in once again, by using a very old DU link that I had saved because it was a humorous item; however, I still often receive the 403 Forbidden message, especially when I click on any link article within any DU comment discussion.

I do not have a fix for this and each moment on DU, I fully expect to get locked out once again.

In the past few months. Didn't persist so not worrying about it.
