I really haven't seen McCartney interviewed, he's still on top of his game, I was impressed, funny, quick and smart.

Ed Sullivan’s show that night.
For me, it was a life-changing event.
I was already nuts for American Bandstand, Lloyd Thaxton and Chuck Berry and all the Music then.
But the Beatles sealed the deal for me forever. I’ve spent the rest of my life playing Music and Loving It.
Long and Happy Life To You, Sir Paul!!!!

I was 12 as well when I saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was spending the night in my grandmother's apartment. I thought she'd appreciate the Beatles because she was British, but as I recall they didn't impress her. I became a lifelong fan.
