9. A Maga neighbor commented this morning that she still likes him,

and that the cost of gas will come down. I could only reply that people elected a businessman and that as a businessman it only makes sense to sell us gas at the same price that the rest of the world pays. Why would a businessman sell us gas for $4 a gallon when they can get 6 and 8 dollars somewhere else?
That point hit deep, I saw her reaction. She commented that there are some things she could kick him for.
Is she still a Maga? probably.
Will she vote straight R next time? probably, but hopefully she will be less motivated to go vote.

We can never reason with them and we can never change how they think, but we can plant seeds of doubt every chance we get.
