(23,547 posts)Not going to get personal but suffice it to say someone I know who is mentally challenged is applying for SSDI. he got a scam call yesterday saying your case was approved and we need your bank account. He gave it to them.
There is no way someone random calling would know he was waiting for a determination unless it was an inside job and I have no doubt that someone has access to data they should not have access too because of DOGE.

I guess since all of our #s are now compromised, (gee thanks Republicon f_ckholes) the Govt will be "forced" to issue new national ID numbers for everyone.
