Looks like Susie Wilesâ efforts to âlimitâ Trumpâs focus on retribution has failed spectacularly.

(653 posts)No, not even Ivanka. The thought he cares is risible, the way he has spoken practically obscenely about her.
All others exist solely to serve Trump---body, soul, mind, and money. If you offer none of the above, he would just as soon have you killed.

a malicious revenge-fueled psychopath
.his enemies were their enemies..black people/brown people/immigrants, gay/trans people/drag queens, educated women (particularly black women), Democrats.. punish them/hurt them/ deny them the right to vote..yes!!..thats what his voters wanted.. and they turned a deaf ear to his promises to gut the economy, trash the Affordable Care Act, destroy the environment, reward his mega donors with obscene tax cuts, shut down the government, fire career government officials/air traffic controllers, send armies of ICE agents to harass and kill American citizens/tear children from their parents, declare the Constitution all but dead, decimate the White House, and anoint himself emperor..
So now that their guy delivered on his promise to inflict pain, theyre shocked to discover they are in pain, and their lives are shit..no jobs/no healthcare/astronomical food prices/no way to educate their kids) and theyre wailing This isnt what we voted for!..well, yes it is..

While most of the men on the right wear a perpetual smirk on their faces, Bondi always emits pure hatred in her every action

Get ready Noah, I'm going to have some fun with you!
I mean WTF? He really gets off on this shit. He's cruel and all his hired cronies are cruel. He finds it fun. knowing his victims have to lawyer up and it will cost them... . He's still going after comedians and tv shows FFS. He doesn't do any actual work. He has "teams" researching everyone who ever said a bad word about trump. Who are these people who do this work for him? He does these pressers from his office with people lined up behind him and he sits there while the press scream questions at him. Its embarrassing. He loves the spectacle of it all. Eat 💩 💩 💩 💩 💩 8647
Ha! It looks like Trevor Noah touched a raw nerve at the Grammy Awards. Trump is such a snowflake! ð¤£ð¤£

(52,273 posts)and hopefully we'll get a Congress with 3/4 members ready to make the appropriate changes in the Constitution.
Seriously. Can anyone not see that he's been attacking blue States with ICE and the military from the beginning?
He has been conducting a war against Democrats, abusing his power to do it and the Republicans in Congress are complicit.

(999 posts)...or for the victim to sue later.
It is an interesting statute that really tends to favor the prosecution as it basically requires that the case run its course and result favorably for the defendant.
To succeed, a plaintiff must establish that a state actor initiated a criminal proceeding without probable cause, acted with malice, and the proceeding ended in the plaintiff's favor.
Getting a grand jury to return a true bill on a case gives the prosecutor the cover of probable cause. After that they are basically immune to any repercussions.
Federal prosecutors generally possess absolute immunity from malicious prosecution claims for actions taken within the scope of their prosecutorial duties--even if they act in bad faith, knowingly prosecute innocent people, or withhold evidence.
But, as in all things law: it is complicated at both the state and federal level.
So, what do these federal prosecutors really have to lose? They get to take the trial all the way to the end and maybe convince a jury that the defendant is guilty, and the worst case for them is that the case is resolved in favor of the defendant.
You can do a lot of damage to a person's reputation and bank account along the way to that end.

(4,123 posts)... is something that should reconsidered when decent people regain control of the Department of Justice. The very thought of it is repugnant on every conceivable level. Then they can abolish Civil Asset Forfeiture, which is an obscenely obvious violation of the 4th Amendment.

(999 posts)...the frivolous part.
But that is really for civil actions where anyone can sue anyone else for whatever reason basically.
These will be criminal prosecutions and will have to have grand juries return indictments based on probable cause--which is probably why they need to meet every week to come up with some.
It is amusing however since the political-right before Orange Julius screamed for years about tort reform and how much frivolous lawsuits were costing us.
Times change....

(999 posts)...things they can take to a grand jury to establish probable cause.
And they obviously do not care what the "crime" is. Anything will do. None of it will have to do with what Agent Orange is blathering on about constantly.
Justice matters.
(9,745 posts)Juries will not find them "guilty" so it's a big bad waste of taxpayers money (on the national debt, of course, what else is new).
It's part of the Fascist propaganda to distract from the 3 million+ hidden documents (against the letter of the Law).

(4,123 posts)... and mindless malice is akin to watching a tsunami wipe away everything that is good and noble about America. His vindictiveness toward anyone who even dares to correct him is horrifying, and those that continue to enable him deserve to share his pit in Hell. There is no redemption for those who have the power to rein in his insane desire for retribution, but choose not to for their own pathologically selfish reasons.
Trump is a raging psychopath who is determined to destroy America because he couldn't get his own infantile way, so it is time to destroy the cabal of malignant evil that hopes to benefit from his malevolent machinations. No mercy. No forgiveness. Not for these monsters.
