I mean if you're going to play this game.

(93,617 posts)...he paid with his life for their retribution.
Hell, he was even assaulted by them after doing that. They're not a police force, they're a violent, armed mob.
And can we see what he was yelling at them about... what they did before he yelled at them and kicked their car?
If we're playing that game...

(12,758 posts)My bet is that ICE was engaged is some seriously fucked up shit to cause Mr. Pretti to lose his cool.
My question is why this is being pushed so hard by the likes of the NY Post? Is kicking an ICE vehicle a death penalty offense now?
On edit: Reports of events leading up to the taillight incident in following post. As suspected, egregious actions on the part of ICE.

(9,439 posts)I believe the circumstances led to it inadvertently exposing a weapon. They had no idea he had a weapon... it's a complete cluster fuck. he was just trying to direct traffic to let someone parked on the street be able to pull out. It was a "Perfect Storm" of stupidity.

(5,802 posts)In a video taken by Sahan Journal, the woman can be seen arguing with agents prior to being grabbed by multiple agents and carried to agents vehicle. The woman can be heard shouting that she is disabled and on her way to a doctors appointment that ICE was obstructing. Prior to the detention agents had instructed her to drive away.
Shortly after, another observer on site was tackled and forcibly put in agents vehicle as well. According to state Rep. Aisha Gomez, DFL-Minneapolis, who was present at the scene, agents pushed the mans head into the concrete prior to carrying him away. Gomez also said that agents were physical with her as well.
These officers have obviously not had the basic law enforcement training, Gomez said. I was shoved with no verbal communication whatsoever.
Andy Larson, a south Minneapolis resident who was out observing ICE activity Tuesday, told Sahan Journal that one protester kicked out the taillight of an ICE vehicle and was tackled to the ground up the road on Park Avenue and E. 36th Street.
It was a really good kick, Larson said.

vehicle was Ford Expedition, sort of gray.
As I suspected, the conduct of the agents that provoked this response was egregious.

(58,436 posts)Where ICE has smashed car windows and windshields and caused massive damage to the vehicles of the victims they targeted, running cars off the road into streetlights or other objects, and in some cases just leaving victims cars in the middle of the street following arrests. I dont feel one iota of remorse for a kicked in taillight on one of their unofficial, privately owned vehicles. Fuck them.
