Back in the 60s when I was about 10 years old some country nationalized the oil in their country. I remember thinking, though clearly I was just repeating the political and media framing of the situation, why are they stealing OUR oil? I’ve grown up since then and somewhere along the way I realized that it never was OUR oil they were stealing but it was Texaco’s or Exxon’s or BPs oil which of course had been stolen before.

Amazing so many of our fellow Americans are no smarter than a 10 year old.

What he seems to be saying is that Maduro is responsible for the nationalization of Venezuela's oil.
But that actually started in 1976 with President Perez, then President Chavez further solidified government control, with Maduro finalizing full government control of all oil fields and production.
Just for the record, it was the big oil companies, like the ones Trump met with in the White House earlier this year, who lost ownership of the oil fields.
I wonder what they promised Trump in return for getting those holdings back?
We know he's not doing it for us.
And, I wonder how many American soldiers Trump is willing to sacrifice to that end?

deposits called Colton. And by the way Don Jr, is involved financially with the company that is leading the push to purchase and control this mineral in Venezuela.
