I was told that people "gotta" buy things and a discount is better than paying the full tariff price.

SO, my proposal for Monday is: From Bernie Sanders, and this is a donation request, with a gift in return.

Sisters and Brothers -

I've recently written a New York Times best-selling book entitled "Fight Oligarchy.”

It's a good book. It's an important book. And the most important thing to me is that anyone who wants to read the book has a chance to read the book.

If that is all you need to hear, please make a donation of ANY AMOUNT you can afford and we'll ship it out to you soon. If you can give $27, that's terrific. If you can only afford to give $1, that is fine as well.

Use this link to donate what you can and get yours:

Contribute any amount to get Bernie's book: Fight Oligarchy

This new book talks about the economic and political reality of America today - a reality often ignored by the corporate media. It is a reality in which a small number of extremely wealthy individuals control the economic, political, and media life of a nation while ordinary people have very little power. It’s a reality in which Big Money and Trumpism work together to create an authoritarian society in which the very rich get much richer while a majority of Americans struggle to put food on the table or pay the rent. It’s a reality called Oligarchy.

If you're an American, it is the system in which you are living.

It’s a system that we must change.

In the wealthiest nation on earth we must build a political movement that creates a government that represents all Americans, not just a handful of billionaires.

This book talks about where we're at today, and where we go from here.

I hope you've read it. And if you haven't, I hope you will. I'd love to send you a copy and when you are done, maybe you can share it with a friend.

Please use the link above to make a contribution of ANY AMOUNT you can afford today and we'll get you a copy of my latest book "Fight Oligarchy."

Every dollar we raise will go toward covering the cost of buying the books, shipping them to you, and anything left over will be used to help elect progressives across the country in the next election.

In solidarity,

Bernie

You'll get on his mailing list, but GUESS WHAT?
I love his emails, because he is fighting for us, and did so when everyone else was scared shitless to do so.
AND he fully supported Joe Biden during his presidency, and both Bernie and AOC campaigned their asses off for Kamala and Tim.

And that's MY cyber Monday attack on the oligarchs.
People gonna spend.

were the ones people were mainly supposed to avoid. Did any of them suffer at all? I never shop at Home Depot or Target any way, but I didn't order anything from Amazon.

I just saw that big-ass number.
But I did my part (by doing nothing)

And I pushed pretty hard on the boycott idea, with my Indivisible reposts.

None of my family bought anything extra.

I'll post if I get any updated numbers, probably on Hacker News.

U.S. BLACK FRIDAY SALES HIT RECORD HIGH

Online Black Friday sales reached a record $11.8 billion, up 9.1% from last year, according to Adobe Analytics. Despite higher spending, shoppers bought fewer items due to rising prices.

big retailers started hiking prices in July, so even if they “slash prices” 20 or30 % their profit margins are still as fat as ever.

Black Friday is just another scam.
