He had Trump dead to rights, but let Cannon walk all over him.
The legal pundits couldn't figure out why Jack Smith didn't take action to have
Cannon removed due to her many ethical and legal violations.

Now he cries crocodile tears.

Her son had just started working for the justice dept to have regular hours because his big firm wanted a ton of hours per week. They ended up putting him on the case about the files and she said he did all his work in a locked special room with no cells allowed. They did everything to prevent leaks and worked hard.

From what she said I think it took longer because government doesn't do overtime, in fact her son left in the middle of it for 4 months of baby leave. I think Jack was thorough and wanted to make sure he could take Trump down not realizing the judge was in his pocket selling her soul.

And Trumps lawyers filed a bunch of paperwork to stall it, I learned the hard way in a easy divorce that should have taken 6 months got delayed two years because my ex had a paralegal fill out forms to delay delay delay.

So don't blame Jack, I believe he honestly tried. And why he didn't try to take Canon out he must have known something we don't because I believe he would have if he could.

But the legal experts on MSNBC kept being puzzled why Jack would not take action.
He had more than enough evidence that Cannon was a bad actor and needed
to be taken off the case. Her superiors had taken her off cases before for the same reason.
So it was a slam dunk. The legal experts didn't get it.

So then I knew Jack was slow walking this thing on purpose,
which seemed shocking at the time.

But at this point, we know that the American judiciary just doesn't give a damn
about the installation of a fascist government.

I also know some federal workers. They are accountants.
They make an excellent salary.

They just retired and their pensions are higher than their salary when they were working!
Top of the line healthcare and perks. They live a very good life. They will never worry about money for the rest of their lives.

So I think many of the turncoats don't necessarily agree with Trump but
they don't want to lose their sweet deal.

public pensions. After 30 years as a registered nurse in a very large public hospital in Texas my pension is $1,859/month.

Sure public employees in many states have larger pensions but I don't begrudge them their pensions. They and their predecessors fought for their pensions. And I know that if the Republicans succeed in taking down public pensions those workers in red states will be hit first and hardest.

Smith spoke about the rule of law being under attack in a way that he hasn’t seen in his lifetime, and that he’s saddened by the firing of selfless public servants, the government using its vast powers to target citizens for exercising their constitutional rights, and the loss of credibility with the courts and the people

snip

“In a society where the rule of law is eroding, you can have a situation where if you’re a Latino citizen… you can be stopped, detained, your liberty taken because of the color of your skin. Or maybe because you were speaking Spanish… whereas we all know that if you were white, that would never happen.”

snip

Smith talked about how it’s vital that career prosecutors follow the facts and the law despite both criticism and praise. “You do the right thing. You do it the right way. And you do it for the right reasons.” He points out that while media pundits and online social media trolls are “noise” that a good prosecutor knows how to tune out, people who demand a specific outcome are also to be ignored. A conscientious prosecutor does what is right by following the facts and the law regardless of external pressure.

But, he says, the current leadership at the Department of Justice has abandoned these principles in favor of reaching desired outcomes dictated by the president. Rather than relying on the process, they ignore norms and values by focusing on those outcomes no matter the cost to the credibility of the institution, and no matter whether the outcomes are legal or just.

I don't see all those in the line of Fire... taking this forever. Something has got to give.

The Traitor to the USA obviously has plans to turn us into a Dictator Dominated nation like Putin's Russia. How long is that going to last?

This has been in the bag for fifty years and more.
The rightwing has been on the Judiciary like mold, quietly spreading itself and consuming and supplanting established theory and culture.
Their hand-picked-and-groomed jurists have been acting like the "Activist Judges" they've been flinging like a bloody shirt since the mists of time.
They seem to have put a guard on every door and Jinned-up an answer for every meaningful challenge to their blitzkrieg.
Where's the "Brain Trust"?
