(20,821 posts)And with good reason.
However:
Perhaps you might consider revising your word choice in your headline, lest your casual, emotional use of the word whore, create a permission structure for others to use the b-word and c-word for women they are mad at.
Just sayin

(5,885 posts)Haven't heard that one before. A new scold meme?

(20,821 posts)Trumps election denialism Will be wild! Tweet, and rally created a permission structure for the January 6 insurrection.
The fake Protocols of the Elders of Zion and the use of dehumanizing language and images created a permission structure for antisemitism and ultimately the Holocaust.
Lies about immigrant crime, eating pets, etc. create a permission structure for ICE to terrorize immigrant communities.
Using dehumanizing language, such as comparing people to vermin or insects(rather than accurate but unemotional descriptors of contemptible actions), about political opponents creates a permission structure for political violence.
Casually using the misogynist word whore in an emotional tirade against a woman whose actions are disgusting and contemptible, if unchallenged, creates a permission structure for others to use other misogynistic terms.
Words have meaning, and word choice matters.
