That the death penalty should be “considered“ for them.

When some of us predict that in a very short time unless piece of shit is removed that all non-MAGA supporters will be either dead, imprisoned or deported, we are just hoping people understand that fact.

the aftermath of Kirk's murder. Of course they should condemn the violence and call for unity. Of course they should offer condolences to the family. But to completely capitulate to this retelling of history and to abandon free speech by not supporting Dowd, is self destructive and does not help calm the environment. In fact, it does the opposite.

Democrats are on the right side of things but they get lost in the overall messaging. In this case, they've inadvertently joined the MAGA framing--Kirk's sanctification/martyrdom, the whitewashing of the man's beliefs and a rallying cry for extremists.

Dowd is a perfect example. The man certainly didn't celebrate the violence but tried to describe the dangerous moment we've entered. Didn't matter. He was thrown to the wolves and terminated immediately.

(sigh)

I don’t think Democratic leadership has read much about propaganda and how to counter it, or if they have, it was an academic exercise soon forgotten. But this is right out of the authoritarian playbook. And we walked right into it.

Kirk literally called for the execution of Joe Biden.

I am deleting this thread because apparently, he did not call for the "assassination" of Biden but the "execution". Still bad, but I don't want the larger issue to get lost.
