But I bet it directly correlates to population density. Crimes happen where the people are.

There definitely seems to be a higher concentration of gun deaths in the Southeast and fewer in the Northeast relative to their population.

The map found here (even though it's from 2023) confirms that.

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/state-stats/deaths/firearms.html

California & New York have very low rates relative to the country as a whole.

I would guess gun deaths in an area correlate very closely with the number of guns in that area.

I was noticing that NC, SC, and GA seem to be overrepresented compared to population.

especially Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. There certainly is a correlation between Republicans and gun deaths. Thank you for pointing it out!

Edit: When you look at it per capita the difference is really stark. It's really the whole South and Intermountain West except Florida and Utah. The correlation is stark.

Mostly back when I was working...

Ive been everywhere... and there's no worse place than urban Southeast State cities.

Chicago and DC aren't quite as bad as they say... I spent most of COVID in Georgetown and found it to be just fine.

From Memphis to Miami... serious violence.

To see where this is a crime problem, a mental health problem, or both.

King Maggot really needs to do something about that SHITHOLE he's claiming to be his home state, looks like he needs to pull all those Natioal Huard guys out of relatively calm blue areas and focus them where they're really needed, patrolling the mean streets of Florida, including around Mara Lardo.
