The Democratic governor of NC, Josh Stein allows COVID vaccinations without prescription.

At least the Democratic governors are doing the right thing.

The MinuteClinic was dispensing the vaccines. Previously, we'd gotten several Covid vaccines in the pharmacy, given by the pharmacist. Spouse saw a nurse practitioner, and I saw an LPN. We're both over 50 and have a couple high risk factors.

I'm so glad Gov. Stein signed an order allowing the vaccine without prescription, but I do wish he'd opened it up to all people/ages.

Gov. Stein: "Health care providers and pharmacists recommend vaccination as a safe and effective tool to protect yourself and your community from COVID-19, especially with cold and flu season upon us.

Today North Carolina issued statewide standing orders to allow pharmacies across the state to provide COVID-19 vaccines to high-risk adults over 18, including everyone over 65, without a prescription."
