Martyrs are used by messianic movements to sanctify violence. To show any mercy or understanding toward the enemy is to betray the martyr and the cause the martyr died defending.

Not my place to decide.

Will he be martyred and elevated to MAGA sainthood? Definitely.

Did it help any, his death?
Doubtful, but it sends a message to those vomiting vile rhetoric, doesn't it?

3. Rittenhouse had a short shelf life though

Remember, there are living breathing influencers that want to make that sweet Kirk cash. It's a me me me culture. His wife already trying to place herself in a situation to keep the cash flowing in.

Much like Rush Limbaugh, Kirk likely to be revered, but also forgotten because these people all are/were competing with Kirk for the same RW influencer cash. Hence the in fighting and race to be more RW than each other. You don't make money selling someone else's product.

I notice the firing squad has reined in the “Libruls own this!” rhetoric since learning the shooter is just another one of their own.
