I have seen various social media posts which refer to him as either Mormon or Christian, and I've seen his father referred to as a minister. I am interested in getting some clarity on that detail.
I'm not asking for someone to explain the relationship between Mormonism and Christianity. I am not asking for someone to parse the meaning of minister in different religious traditions. I'm not asking for probabilities given his other demographics.
Just an article which says what his religion is, citing sources with direct knowledge. If anyone has seen one.
Thanks in advance.

(1,423 posts)I don't know about you, but I prefer to have my ducks in a row before I go running my mouth in other SM outlets, because unlike "the other side" I hate to be factually incorrect. So, yeah, this would be good to know. Even it's just the family's religion (and it def. seems like they are religious), I'd love some confirmation.

(19,835 posts)I do believe his father is not a minister. That was confusion stemming from the youth minister who called the US marshals at the father's request.
Other than that there has been no official statement of their religious leanings at all that I've read.

(37,337 posts)The reasonable assumption is that he's raised Mormon, although there is a Catholic Church there. There are 17 LDS Temples by my count.
I'd expect the media to tiptoe around it, so I doubt you'll get a link.
