Question: sorry another Kirk topic. But could someone have been trying to do an actual ear shot like Trump?

But was a little low?

To me, it seems that if someone was going to kill Kirk, they would have done the chest (center mass). People have already indicated he was not wearing a vest as they could see his belly fat and nips.

I could almost see that happening as a logical thing to boost the Trump shooting and detract from his problems.

Trump's ear was not shot. If it was, there would have been at least some redness a week later. And there wasn't. Scrivener7 Thursday #9

I would assume that most people attempting an assassination would aim for the head. Occom's razor suggests that's what the assassin was trying to do, the shot missed slightly, but still hit a critical spot.

be the target as it is the largest area since Kirk did not have a vest on (Which to me is stupid since he is a public figure). He told me hitting the head at that distance would be luck for most people.

So naturally my warped mind went to "What if someone was trying to duplicate the Trump shooting?" since there is the video of the 2 men beside Kirk that seemed to be signaling someone before the shooting.

For trump copycat. Not actually hit him on ear. Copycat gone wrong would be more likely. Maybe that's why he was sitting down, so he wouldn't get hit...

Not that I'm saying that I think that happened. Just throwing it out there.

But in my gut I feel it is related to the other "Head Wounding" incident.

A stunt gone wrong or a "Gun Nut" who dislikes Kirk?

might as well face the fact that this guy was surrounded by and followed by a whole lot of crazy people. Actually a pretty good choice for taking one for the team though.

Might have been aiming at chest but pulled trigger just as he sat down.
Just a thought.
