Been saying and posting this for a LONG time, going back to the 90s.
This country relentlessly indulging their nonstop victimhood and relentless obsession over the evil liberal boogyman is what got us here.

fed the minds of millions right leaning Americans who a small % of them go onto shoot those
law makers in Minnesota, storm the U.S. Capitol in an attempted coup which now looks like has
seceded, break into the home of Nancy Pelosis elderly husband and attack him with a hammer,
rally against proven medical science, and on and on. Where I am sitting right now less than 2
miles is Ohio State Universitys Institute of Polar Studies which has literally millions of scientificialy,
proven data points proving global warming but people like Kirk, the GOP, Fox News, the Fossil Fuel
Industries, and so on have been such malignant mental cancers that people are willing to deny the
reality of science and attack education and knowledge. The world is a better place without him.

Question is, will he/gop gain or lose supporters when more people learn about what he said?

(2,846 posts)... Republicans expect decent people to mourn the death of this unspeakably evil little asshole, who contributed nothing of value to the world, or the gene pool? I don't think so.
The Sun shines a little brighter, and the air smells a little fresher, now that the we're relieved of his presence.
Too harsh? No expletive in any language is sufficiently vile to adequately describe what an absolute monster that creature known as Charlie Kirk delighted in proving himself to be.

He was praised for being an "entrepreneur" and capitalizing on the untapped college campus market.

At just 31, Charlie Kirk has amassed an estimated net worth of $12 million. The chief executive and co-founder of Turning Point USA, Kirk has transformed a small campus-based project into one of the most prominent organizations in conservative politics. And, along the way, he has also secured a lifestyle that includes a Spanish-style mansion, luxury travel and multiple seven-figure properties, according to a report by news agency Associated Press.

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) is a prominent American nonprofit organization that advocates for conservative politics, particularly on high school and college campuses. Founded in 2012 by Charlie Kirk and Bill Montgomery, TPUSA has grown rapidly and is recognized as one of the largest conservative youth activist organizations in the country. As of 2025, TPUSA's demographic profile primarily includes young people, particularly those aged 18 to 24. The organization has been credited with shifting the political leanings of younger voters, especially among men in this age group. Recent polls indicate that approximately 26% of men aged 18-24 identify as conservative, a notable increase compared to previous generations. This demographic shift is significant, as it contrasts with the trend of younger voters leaning left in prior decades.
Events and Engagement and Ideological Focus
TPUSA hosts various events aimed at mobilizing young conservatives, such as the annual AmericaFest, which attracted around 21,000 attendees in 2024. These events often feature high-profile speakers, including former President Donald Trump, and serve as platforms for networking and activism among conservative youth. The organization emphasizes themes of freedom, free markets, and limited government. It also engages in initiatives like the Professor Watchlist, which targets educators perceived to promote leftist ideologies. TPUSA's approach has drawn both support and criticism, with some viewing it as a vital force for conservative activism, while others criticize its tactics and rhetoric.
Recent Developments
The organization has faced challenges, including the tragic death of its founder, Charlie Kirk, in September 2025, which has sparked discussions about its future direction and influence in conservative politics. Overall, TPUSA's demographic is characterized by a youthful, predominantly male base that is increasingly identifying with conservative values, reflecting a significant shift in the political landscape among younger Americans. ...

(7,322 posts)He was another con man, cashing in on the reality that there is a certain % of the population that is dim and willing to throw money at anybody who makes them feel justified in their ignorance and bigotry. He watched Bannon, Trump, and the likes; figured they are old and someone will need to fill their shoes, collect the money from the rubes.
We have no idea if he actually believed the garbage he pushed. Con artists gotta con.
