The con artist delivered a statement in the Oval Office

and completely omitted the assasination of Melissa Hortman, which was just a few months ago, the brutal attack on Paul Pelosi, the arson at Governor Shapiro's residence, again, recent, the kidnapping/murder plot of Governor Whitmer and so many others.

He politicized it and picked and chose what he wanted.

Nobody knows who the suspect is or what his motive was.

The con's comments were shameful, purposefully divisive, and meant to incite his cult.

Deplorable.

Because to his base the left is always responsible for everything bad. And the right for everything good. It has absolutely nothing to do with actual fact. It is their belief. And no one is so certain of a thing as a believer unencumbered by a need for facts.

Until both of them turned out to be crazy right wingers. Then it became the "divisive rhetoric", i.e. disagreeing with Trump, of the left that somehow "inspired" those guys to violence.
