but I was deeply and genuinely saddened because I liked him, too. I would much rather have seen him run against Tricky Dick than Happy Hubird and his politics of joy. I think RFK Sr. could have beaten Nixon and I would have been happy to see it happen. Still, I have to be glad he's not around to see his out-of-control Jr. There must have been hurricane when Jr. was born because he definitely fell far from the tree.

Why I don't see it as a conspiracy: B/c Nixon went to the President of S. Vietnam not to end the war because he would give SV a better deal if he won.
