She was responsible for her company to follow environmental regulations,
on their job for the reconstruction of San Diego's airport Lindbergh Field.
She said that this administration is going after any job that has
environment attached to it and it finally caught up with her company.

(902 posts)Unfortunately- as noted- its unlikely to be in environmental protection. Its not enough to be cruel and wreck the economy, they want to wreck the planet too.

My hatred of conservatism burns hotter than the surface of the Sun. They are soulless monsters who think their sanctimonious faux religiosity masks their evil hearts. It does not.
The catastrophic environmental disasters their bottomless greed has already visited upon the planet are only going to intensify exponentially, and the malignant filth on the Dark Side of the Aisle will convince the room-temperature IQs that voted for them to blame "alla dem dere libs". Those mental defectives deserve whatever fate befalls them. The rest of us do not.

(3,823 posts)Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.

Somehow in his addled brain he had the idea that it would flow towards the fires does he think North is uphill and South is downhill?

(831 posts)The reconstruction of Lindbergh Field, aka: the San Diego airport, is Terminal 1 for about $3.8 billion. Terminal 1 is nearly complete and is scheduled to begin receiving flights on Sept 22nd. So it would seem if your daughter's job was working on the reconstruction of Terminal 1 then it follows that once it is completed her job is over.
You said she works for a company meaning not the Airport so once the contract is completed that particular job is over just as every construction job would be over.
So the question I have is this: Is there any real evidence the Orange Turd's administration cause her to lose her job?

(10,290 posts)There will be more phases, but her company has other government contracts that she was slated to work on as well. Because some of those $$$'s were supposed to go to environmental projects, and we all know, this administration doesn't give one f§¢k about the environment, those dollars got pulled.
Project phases and timelines:
Phase 1: Includes 19 new gates and a baggage system, with an opening in late summer 2025.
Phase 1A (partial): Will open with 19 gates this summer.
Phase 1B: Will add the remaining 11 gates by 2028, completing the New T1.
Project status:
Construction is ongoing: The project has been in construction since November 2021.
A new entrance roadway opened in July 2025: This provides an uninterrupted route to the terminal.
Phase 1A (19 gates and parking) is on track for summer 2025: This initial portion will provide a modern experience for passengers using Southwest and other airlines.
The project is phased: The airport remains operational throughout the entire construction process.
I'll bet that this project won't be implemented.
Sustainability Features:
The project emphasizes sustainability by incorporating renewable electricity, rainwater collection, and adhering to green building standards.
