As thousands of National Guard troops patrol the streets of Washington, D.C., over the objections of local officials and residents, Donald Trump said Tuesday that he plans to deploy the military to Chicago and Baltimore next.

But according to a new Yahoo/YouGov poll, just 37% of Americans say they would approve of the president sending soldiers to other “major cities” after D.C.

In contrast, a majority — 53% — say they would disapprove

“We’re going in,” Cadet Cankles said Tuesday when reporters asked about deploying National Guard troops to Chicago. “We have the right to do it.”
