Crowd in DC outraged by federal law enforcement presence as cars stopped on busy street

A traffic checkpoint set up by Washington, DC, police and federal agents drew community outrage on Wednesday night as President Donald Trump’s takeover of the city’s police entered its third night.

CNN’s team at the scene observed multiple cars being pulled over temporarily, and at least one person being handcuffed and taken away by law enforcements at a checkpoint set up along the city’s 14th Street corridor, an area popular for its bars and restaurants.

Members of the community were seen lining both sides of 14th Street and loudly cursing at the officers. The visible outrage lasted for about two hours, with people yelling phrases like “Shame,” “You are the criminals” and “Get the f**k out of here” at the officers.

Others yelled, “Take off your mask!” at some of the federal agents who were wearing masks to cover their faces.

rump is just looking for a "good excuse" to declare martial law. Actually, he doesn't need an excuse, nor does he need to invoke Martial Law. He'll just issue an Executive Order and demand that National Guard shoot anyone out on the streets after 6pm. (Old men go to bed early, even if they only toss and turn and hit the bathroom a dozen times in the night).

The chaos of OUR military shooting their own citizens is exactly what trump wants to happen. That will completely disenfranchise the military from the civilian population; up til now, the military has had our support because they supported us. Many thousands of us WERE that military in our prime. We don't recognize what is happening now, and that's on purpose. It's easier to shoot someone you're told over and over again is your enemy... especially when that "enemy" is provoked to rage, with accompanying violence. We are in for some really bad times to come if someone doesn't get that devil out of office, and tie Stephen Miller around his neck to drag him with him!

Gunshots from every window.

Justified in the fight for Democracy!

Will chump turn DC into Gaza?

Blow up the Smithsonian because he can't have his shuttle?

Do not underestimate American resolve!

If trumps lips are moving, he's lying.... and it's a condition that's been inherited by everyone in his employ. (Notice I did NOT say in OUR employee. We just pay their salaries with our taxes. And that's all they want... our money.)

Hmmm... if NO ONE paid taxes in April to support his illegal, immoral regime could we overturn the country that way? After all, we're not seeing ANY of our money come back to us in services we desire and need.

What insults did he give the teenagers and how much lip did they take before they "kicked his ass." And if that WAS the case... good trouble! Unfortunately, it gave this opportunity. But he'd had found one reason or another. Walls are closing in around him, and he knows it. His body is giving out, and he knows it. And he's fighting anyone and everything to keep the worst from collapsing around him. And ya know what? With all the blow and all the snow, not to mention the fat content from his eating habits, it's a losing battle. Just watch him waddle across the stage, using small shuffling steps while bent over nearly double at the waist.

*I* have big, bad back problems. I tend to lean front wise, so I know what I'm talking about. There's no way he could golf without being high on some sort of pain "medication."

The Gulf Of Tonkin Lie, the Israeli massacre of the USS Liberty's crew, and now big balls. Bullshit, maybe we should lose this way of government. It does not or ever rhas represented anyone but the rich.

The lies are now normal.

I don't blame them; I'm outraged too. Talk about "waste, fraud and abuse." This is a "waste" of time and taxpayer dollars, based on another big, fat, ugly LIE ("fraud&quot and a colossal "abuse" of power.

It’s been abused by our lawmakers. They agreed to no warrant searches of homes, cars, and anything else that the enforcers could muster up.

People had their homes and assets confiscated by the enforcers and the local government benefits from all those illegal searches.
