Disloyal

Somehow Trump’s attention was diverted to another skirt walking off a tennis court. “Look at that piece of ass,” Cohen recalls Trump saying, as he whistled and pointed. “I would love some of that.” It so happened that Trump was referring to Cohen’s then 15-year-old daughter, Samantha.

Cohen informed Trump of his mistake. “That’s your daughter?” Trump responded. “When did she get so hot?” When Samantha reached her dad, Trump asked her for a kiss on the cheek, before inquiring, “When did you get such a beautiful figure?” and warning her that in a few years, he would be dating one of her friends.
– Michael Cohen, Disloyal, 2020

Among the millions of topics I have zero grasp of are technology and economics. Let's start with technology. My adult children have taught me the art of “face-timing,” which I believe is the correct lingo of the younger generations. Thus, I have the ability to contact people far smarter than me, who I have not spoken with in many decades. For example, a professor of economics, to ask a question about Jeffery Epstein's $650 million in assets.

“Give me three days,” he said, after agreeing that I gave a rather shallow response to a forum member's question on one of my recent O.P.s on Epstein. Thus, late last night, I listened for over half an hour to things that were miles above my head. For he understands not only domestic transactions, but shady international ones.

We ended with him saying that the majority of what the DOJ should have been interested in involved off-shore accounts that are nearly impossible-to-impossible to trace.”This was at a level beyond what the best tax lawyers are normally associated with,” he explained in simple terms. “These people were the experts at that time for hiding things so well that we still can't access all of them. They are purposefully hidden, probably even more so than any records of the underage girls being put on the international market. You might see if anyone can find records of when Epstein bought girls from Eastern Europe.”

Later, thinking about this, I thought of the above two paragraphs from Michael Cohen's first book. I remembered how the felon's DOJ, under Bill Barr, fought so hard to try to prevent the book from seeing the light of day. Perhaps most of all, these two paragraphs are what they want hidden, so we could not read them in the context of the felon's current crisis.

hilarious that he is incapable of dealing with this. The obvious discomfort that saturates his daily life. The sense of panic in his words and actions.

I know that good people were concerned that he would pardon Maxwell. As our good friend bigtree said, let him. It would only hurt him.

at the end of my first interview with Chief Waterman, I asked him if he had a message for readers. He said try very hard to tell the truth, because in the end, you own all of your lies. We are witnessing that today.

Perfect irony is what we are witnessing - the unraveling of a life of lies.
The best part of this is that it is the female victims who will finally have the last laugh.

about the girls and women Epstein & the European guy brought in from Eastern Europe. One, of course, lives in the White House -- at least part-time. Odd that she is likely the most stupid, with zero talents. She couldn't even pull off a Michelle Obama speech. But the others get lost in this story.

And that anyone in the bubble-wrap of the maga-sphere would read, understand, think, change minds?

I can't imagine that.

Other than Lawrence O'Donnell, I do not watch much MSM. (I like your M$M!) Podcasts tend to provide better information. I'm half-tempted to start one myself sometimes.

I just watched one, Meidas Touch, that covered the felon's press conference with Ursula von der Leyen. He is losing control, and sounded more delusional than when he simply lies. We need to keep the pressure on him.

as JP Morgan Chase argued in a lawsuit:

U.S.V.I. Government Complicit in Trafficking, JPMorgan Chase Says

Government of the U.S. Virgin Islands v. JPMorgan Chase Bank NA

GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES VIRGIN ISLANDS,

v.
JP MORGAN CHASE BANK, N.A.,
Defendant.

IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT
FOR THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF NEW YORK

JPMORGAN CHASE BANK, N.A.'S OPPOSITION TO USVI'S MOTION TO STRIKE AFFIRMATIVE DEFENSES

...
C. USVI Aided Epstein's Criminal Activity

In addition to accepting payments from Epstein and giving him “loyalty and access,” along with over $300 million in tax incentives, USVI government officials actively facilitated Epstein's crimes. Though discovery is ongoing, documents obtained to date show this happened in two primary ways. First, USVI permitted Epstein — a registered sex offender under its supervision — to influence law enforcement and even the legislation meant to constrain him. Second, USVI granted visas, licenses, and loose customs enforcement that allowed Epstein to bring young women in and out of the USVI with impunity.

Thank you so much!

One of the disappointments for the maga cult will be in finding that the majority of those who engaged in raping underage girls is that they were among the top guys in corporations and even some universities. The cult members will not have a clue who they were/are. They might know one of the two lawyers most closely associated with these crimes, Roy Black and Alan Dershowitz.

Alan has said numerous times that he only visited the island once, when Epstein wasn't there, and he was on vacation with his family. That has been proven to be untrue. Although I have yet to confirm it, I was told that Alan said the age of consent should be 14.

Article III, section 33, specified that no unmarried woman could legally consent to sexual intercourse unless she had attained the age of 14.

In 2008, an amendment to the constitution was narrowly passed (with 47.61% of voters rejecting it) to make the age 16.

15. Epstein was part of the 2008 Mortgage collapse

I read that Epstein was one of the early players in mortgage back securities where they'd bundle a bunch of weak mortgages together and get a rating company to rate them AAA. He also lost money as he came up at Bear Sterns and still traded through them.

There is no evidence that Epstein had talent as an investor. It appears that the majority of his known income came as an advisor/consultant, a title that means nothing. This allowed for money to be given to him by those who supported him for a variety of reasons.

Thank you for this! Much appreciated. Very important.
