One day we'll wake up from this nightmare, tRUMP will either do something so stupid, so bizarre (like he's not already doing this, sarcasm here) and he'll finally get the boot out of office he so richly deserves, or since he's still eating greasy cheeseburgers and whatever crap he stuffs into his maw all of the time and finally croaks. On that day, there will be celebrations I think like no one will have seen in this Country for a while.

...our "fucking batteries" keep getting better and better. And we're not only talking about the high-technology batteries found in hybrid cars or solar installations, but also the boring old batteries you buy at the local hardware store. Even the lowly 9V battery has come a long way since I was a wee one. And I ought to know, because part of my job involves the design of portable circuitry powered by boring old batteries like the 9V (which is actually a compound battery comprised of multiple cells, but I digress). A recent project I worked on would not have been commercially viable with the 9V batteries from 20-30 years ago.

The next 20 years of power storage will be mind-blowing. They need to be; otherwise we're going to burn down the planet with fossil-fuel-induced climate change.
