I know that President Biden did. Krasnov said he will send arms to Ukraine if NATO pays for them.
Using the Google machine there are numerous articles that state that Krasnov sent 90 Patriot missiles and also 155mm artillery shells to Ukraine.
Upon investigation, those Patriot missiles and artillery shells were stored in a ware shed in Israel, not being used. Bibi didn't want to piss off Putin so he sent the missiles and shells to the US to be refurbished. (whatever that means) Then the missiles were to be shipped to Poland and then to Ukraine.
I am a troglodyte Googler, but I cannot find any confirmation that Ukraine got any Patriot missiles from Israel/US. Didn't Israel already pay for the missiles?
Then I read an article that Krasnov said that Ukraine won't get any missiles until the spring of 2026.
This deal that Krasnov claims to have made with NATO appears to be a hot mess of bull shit,
Germany did send 2 of its own Patriot missile systems to Ukraine and ordered 2 to replace them from the US.
Help me decipher this.

(29,123 posts)Germany delivered 2 patriot systems to Ukraine and then ordered 2 systems from the US to replace them.
According to your link, Patriot systems are being supplied to Ukraine, I believe that 2 were by Germany.
No word from your link about the 90 Patriot missiles from Israel or the 155mm shells from Israel arriving in Ukraine.
I didn't need a link to explain the deal that Krasnov made, I wanted to know how many weapons have actually arrived in Ukraine under this deal?
Germany seems to have acted on its own not waiting for the Patriot missile systems to be shipped from the US.
I need someone who is good at Googling to answer my question, Ukraine needs weapons now, not the spring of 2026.

(941 posts)Ukraine has received the missiles from Europe. Germany and other countries in Europe are purchasing replacement missiles from US. That was the deal. Not directly from US to Ukraine.

(126,369 posts)I think the premise is accurate but the question still seems to be whether the US will approve the purchase of the replacement missiles.
Fiendish Thingy
(20,243 posts)The plan was for Norway and a couple other countries to send one/some of their Patriot launchers to Ukraine, then buy replacements from the US.
Last I heard, earlier last week, was that the NATO countries were waiting on confirmation that they would be able to purchase the replacements- I think one country may have already sent a launcher, but the others were waiting for the OK to buy the replacements.
To clearly answer your question:
There was never a plan for anybody named Krasnov, or anybody else in the US to send Patriot missiles to Ukraine from the US.
So, your question was based on a faulty premise that never existed.
The plan was always for NATO countries to send their launchers then buy replacements from the US. It appears Germany has already sent two launchers.

(941 posts)Yes Ukraine has already received Patriot missile systems, though delivery continues gradually and remains limited in scale:
⸻
✅ What Ukraine HAS received so far
Three Patriot batteries are now confirmed in Ukraine:
Two delivered by Germany
One by Norway
Additional systems were previously delivered:
The first Patriot battery arrived in April 2023 from Germany
Since then, one each from Germany, Romania, and a Germany-Netherlands coalition
⸻
⏳ Whats underway next
Germany and the U.S. have agreed to donate five more Patriot batteries to Ukraine, though delivery may take months, likely after the summer months .
NATOs Supreme Allied Commander has confirmed efforts are underway to accelerate deliveries via realignment of existing European stocks and prioritization in production pipelines .
Upcoming shipments include systems originally purchased by Switzerland, which are being redirected to Ukrainepossibly up to five systems with 17 launchers and 140 missiles, though logistics and legal processes are still in progress .
⸻
🔍 Real-world context
Zelenskyy emphasized Ukraine has secured three Patriot systems via allied financing and is negotiating funding for seven more .
Reports note that these systems are actively intercepting Russian missiles and drones, forming a crucial layer in Ukraines air defense network .
Still, full deployment of additional Patriots will take time officials expect deliveries likely to accelerate post-summer, with backfill of European stocks via U.S. manufacture taking many months .
