A War on Smart People

It is. This is Trump family revenge. The whole crew feasts on the pot of money that Fred Sr. left behind. None of them have needed degrees or credentials because they are born rich and happy. Of course they hate Harvard and any equalizing portal that rewards effort and diligence.

The rest of us? Raise your hand if your life includes years of schooling, papers written, degree(s) obtained, loans or grants to get the damn degrees. All to establish some credential that opened some door to get you some job. Many unconnected but smart Americans travel this route. The Trumps can be dumb, lazy and vulgar and they ascend anyway.

1. The poorly educated & sub-par intellects hate being proven wrong so frequently. This is their revenge.

Cheating (a la tRumpism) is somewhat effective but is severely limited by punishment and the Peter Principle. tRump vaulted from reality show host to the top job, skipping over multiple steps that usually weed out idiots.

Instead of getting jammed down as a state senator where he would have been exposed as incompetent (Peter Principle), he skipped all the vetting. Not to forget his two main bits of cleverness are manipulating media and using other people's money.

Teachers and educators…
Journalists and writers…
Artists and poets…

They tell the truth.

4. They can't handle the truth. The story of Cassandra, and humanity.

https://www.greekmyths-greekmythology.com/the-myth-of-cassandra/#google_vignette

Imagine knowing the future, seeing with stark clarity the approaching devastation, yet being utterly powerless to avert it, your desperate warnings dismissed as the ravings of a madwoman. This was the tragic reality of Cassandra, the Trojan princess blessed—or cursed—with the gift of prophecy by the god Apollo.

Apollo, scorned and vengeful, twisted his gift, ensuring that while Cassandra would always speak the truth, no one would ever believe her. She foresaw the fall of Troy, the deceptive Trojan Horse, and her own violent end, yet her pleas were met with ridicule and disbelief.

It is through this tragic history of unchecked hubris and misunderstood warnings that Cassandra’s tale has become a lasting symbol through the modern concept of the Cassandra complex, describing the phenomenon of valid warnings being dismissed.

More than just a tale of unheeded prophecy, however, Cassandra’s myth serves as a timeless allegory for the profound dangers of ignoring dissenting voices, the corrupting influence of power, and the harrowing struggle for truth in the face of societal indifference, resonating powerfully in modern discussions from psychology to environmentalism.

This very succinctly explains the Trump Revenge Syndrome and his minions who follow like lambs.

8. When Raygun was Governor of California in the 60's my mother was in her 3rd year of college

Raygun saw college students as a bunch of freeloading entitled pot smoking left wing communist radicals so he put an end to it in California. My mother couldn't afford to pay for college so she was done. She never got to graduate. That's when it started. That's when the 20th century war on intellectualism began and Raygun put it into full motion after Stone and Manafort cut a deal with the radical Iranian theocracy to hold the hostages until after the election. Like FatAss, Raygun was merely a puppet on the end of a hand connected to a far more sinister ideology that learned from the post war 50's and 60's that they must keep people so fucking dumb they will elect a Ham Sandwich and that's just what we did.

The war on education, which results in free thinking smart people of all kinds, started many many decades ago.

Long game. We need to learn it.

Unlike the rest of my family, I am financially secure and healthy. They continue to stew in their Trumpism and conspiracy theories....and call me when they need money.
