More good news: SpaceX's latest Starship test "tumbled out of control"

https://abcnews.go.com/US/spacex-launch-9th-flight-test-starship-spacecraft-after/story?cid=social_twitter_abcn&id=122204009

The vehicle made it to suborbital altitude before a propellant leak caused it to spin out of control and break apart mid-flight.

This is concerning because SpaceX normally blows up three rockets before they figure out the problem. So far they’ve blown up nine of these and there’s no sign they’ll ever figure this out.

Here again, my hunch is he doesn’t like it when shit like this goes sideways. The person I was responding to made it sound like since “it doesn’t cost him anything” he doesn’t mind when they have failures. I don’t think that’s true.

etc but the immense profit he makes from government contracts allows him to proceed with the pipe dream of going to Mars. Some of the funds come from private sources, I believe. Eventually, I'm pretty sure someone will get killed by debris from one of his explosions.

...must come exploding down,
with a debris field where someone is likely to get killed or property damage to occur.
