PA-08, PA-01: Bresnahan, Fitzpatrick Among Top 5 Targets For DCCC Digital Ad Buys
The DCCC is coming out spending and has its sights set on the Keystone State.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has spent up to $340,000 since the start of 2025 in ads with Facebook and Instagram targeting a pair of Pennsylvania Republican congressmen Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-01) and Rob Bresnahan (R-08).
According to data compiled by Andrew Arenge, a researcher at the University of Pennsylvanias Program on Opinion Research and Election Studies, the digital political advertisers have collectively spent approximately $2,000,000 since the beginning of 2025 on targeted Facebook and Instagram digital ads in the 35 Republican held districts being targeted by the DCCC this cycle. And Bresnahan and Fitzpatrick are among the top five.
In fact, Bresnahan, the freshman legislator from NEPA, trails only Gabe Evans (R-Colo.) among the DCCC targets as the committee has allocated between $87,000 $180,000 in ads to date. Leading the way has been the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network ($5,800 $41,000), Planned Parenthood ($9,700 $23,000), Planned Parenthood Action ($16,000 $23,000), and Americans for Prosperity ($14,000 $20,000).
