Poor people spend marginal income domestically far more than rich people, who use their marginal income much more for investments, often overseas.

So I bill that massively resistributes wealth from the poor to the rich markedly dampens consumer spending, with a multiplier effect, which means lower gdp.

Theoretically, increasing the deficit stimulates the economy, except how you're spending the money matters. In this case, they're mostly stimulating overseas investment, especially when combined with the random tariff policies and random kidnapping of workers, which makes America a hostile place to do business.

They are torching the consumer, the engine of our economy.
