So some of the Senate republicans are upset with trump's big beautiful bill because it isn't cutting enough

from those "free programs", Medicare, Social Security, etc., ignoring the FACT that most people have being paying into those programs for years. There was nothing free about them. People have paid into them, and they are entitled to receive the benefit from them.

They are also upset that we are paying for Medicaid, food stamps, etc. for the poor in this country. It would be refreshing if someone from the illustrious press would ask these jackasses should the poor not be given healthcare or food assistance?

What is ALWAYS left unsaid, why aren't taxes on the wealthiest Americans increased?
Why not raise the CAP on social security?

How f**ked up and immoral can a political party which prides itself on "christian values?

I’m not aware of any. Plenty of GOP reps want more cuts, but I haven’t heard that from any senators.

On the contrary, we have seen opposition to the bill from Hawley, Collins, Tillis, and now Johnson because of the size of cuts to Medicare/medicaid.

Johnson bloviates endlessly about making six trillion in cuts to the safety net. That's more than three times what the barbarians have already stuffed into the "big beautiful bill" for cuts that target the struggling workers and poor. Johnson and Paul are more extreme that the "Freedom Caucus" in the house if that's even possible.

than aware they have been angry and resentful of her being a helping hand to the poor in the country.

Next to Turberville these are probably the most selfish and cruel members of the Senate.
