I have a question about this so-called "personal time".....

That the felon took last evening. So is personal time like being off duty? Because if that's so, wouldn't that put JD VANCE in charge of the government. I ask because being president of the USA is a 24 hr, 7 days a week, 365 days a year job.

I know that if the president goes to the hospital to have an operation, the vice-president is in charge of the government because the president is sedated.

So what's up?

US Presidents are available 24/7/365 should need arise. But time spend sleeping, golfing, eating, showering, etc. is not "Official Duties" time. It's the latter that is key.

Careful what you are asking for. If you want 24/7 to always be "official" time, then he is always immune from prosecution.

His dinner was not Official Duties. Hence he could be prosecuted for it after his term ends. Unless you don't want him prosecuted then allow him time off from Official Duties.
