GOP congressman calls for 'nuking' Gaza like US did to Japan

Freshman GOP Rep. Randy Fine calls for “nuking” Gaza in an interview on Fox News.

“The fact of the matter is the Palestinian cause is an evil one,” he says, following last night’s deadly shooting of two Israeli embassy staffers who were outside the Capitol Jewish Museum in Washington where an American Jewish Committee event was being held.

“In world war two, we did not negotiate a surrender with the Nazis. We did not negotiate a surrender with the Japanese. We nuked the Japanese twice in order to get unconditional surrender,” he says. “That needs to be the same here. There is something deeply, deeply wrong with this culture, and it needs to be defeated.”

Trump and many in Israel's government would go along with that.

There's nobody left to kill there except old men, women, and children, and Israel is doing a pretty good job of that without any of the radioactive mess.
Randy Fine should be forced to live there for the rest of his term to see what real human misery looks like.
Anyone with his mentality shouldn't have a position in the US government.
But then fascists are taking over the country, so I guess you'd have to expect Republican Congressmen to have a desire to kill even more people even more quickly.
Gotta clear the land for that Trump resort for the super rich.

Calling a literally dropping nuclear weapons. Hrs saying they need to be defeated, not negotiated with.

Very misleading headline.

I dont think anyone supporting Israel is interested in spreading nuclear fallout across most of Israel's agricultural land.

Just pointing it out because I think many US policymakers don’t consider using nukes to somehow be off limits.

I think it’s arguable that the US actually is a party to the events in Gaza given the extensive military, logistical and diplomatic support it has provided.

All that said, Randy Fine is uniquely murderous and genocidal in his statements and ideology.

Here's a map of that region:

Note that major cities in Israel, like Tel Aviv and Jerusalem are pretty close to the Gaza strip. Nuclear weapons do not just affect the immediate area where they detonate. You'd think a smart person who got elected to Congress would know that. I guess not.
