2. Well, some incredibly music came out of the late 60s and civil rights, but assassinations, Vietnam...

my then very young memory is still burned with those images.

Every other year/decade is relative IMHO until you get to the Trump years--the start and ongoing demise of democracy...

3. No question that the best years of this nation were under Bill and Hillary Clinton. Feel good, compassionate times for

more people. No time has ever been perfect but for me and my extensive family, the years of the Clinton administrations and the couple of years immediately following were pretty good times. The one issue I had with those times was RWanda.
No other time came close until Obama was elected. The world was kinder and more compassionate under those two Presidents...even if it were only a feeling.

The very worst times were under Reagan and Trump. We became the nation of unrestrained hate.

Nothing but sinking under Trump's two terms. Biden started us rising again only to have Trump come in and tie us to cement bricks. We are almost a lost cause.
