Michigan state Rep. Jason Woolford (R) — who has sponsored legislation that requires children to “prove their gender” when asked — refused to answer when a colleague, Rep. Mike McFall (D), asked if he was transgender.

Said McFall: “I want to know, how does a 14-year old girl prove whether or not she is trans to a 50-year old coach?”

It’s quite possible that an XY person has androgen insensitivity syndrome and phenotypically presents as very feminine, including female external genitalia.
