Trump has a habit of accusing opponents of the same things he does: "Lying Ted," "Crooked Hillary," "Crazy Bernie." He even accused Hillary of being a bigot.

He criticized Mitt Romney for failing to release his tax returns, berated Barack Obama for playing too much golf, and accused Joe Biden of nepotism.

The Republican Party has accused Democrats of "grooming," but more GOP politicians and conservative Christian pastors have been caught molesting children. Contrary to GOP opinion, my unofficial tally of drag queens committing that offense, so far, is zero.

It's called projection, a childish defensive mechanism, but it has evolved into a GOP political strategy. The latest, and most dangerous, is the weaponization of the Justice Department and the federal government against its critics. It's what they repeatedly accused the Democrats of doing during Biden's Presidency, but it is the Trump Administration that is actually doing it.

It serves to confuse everyone, make the victims look guilty, start investigations into the victims behavior,
and humiliate and anger the victim.

It is a strategy to protect themselves and to be cruel.
