Responding to Patti Davis, and to a number of NY Times Readers
My comment to Davis's essay:
Joe Biden has given his all to this country, and owes nobody anything. And to those who say he is responsible for our current mess, I say balderdash! It wasn't Joe who caused people to stay home from the polls, and it wasn't Joe who caused people to believe the promises of a known con man and convicted felon. No, that's on American voters and no one else!
I have read and appreciated many of Ms. Davis's essays over the years, but I find this one to be deeply offensive and in very poor taste!
