Suspected serial killer shouts out Trump in last words before he's put to death: 'Keep making America great'

Glen Rogers once told police he had killed about 70 people. He was executed by lethal injection Thursday in Florida.

A man on death row in Florida used his last opportunity to share a message with the world Thursday to show his support for President Donald Trump.

“President Trump, keep making America great. I’m ready to go,” Glen Rogers, 62, said moments before receiving a lethal injection.

Rogers was executed for the 1995 murder of a 34-year-old mother of two he had met at a bar.

You can tell a lot about person by the people that like ‘em. I wonder if Trump was
flattered by the praise of serial killer?

The guy might just have received his pardon, or at least a commutation.

Last-ditch appeals
On May 5, Rogers appealed to the Florida Supreme Court to stop his execution, arguing that sexual abuse suffered as a child should have been taken into account during the sentencing phase of his trial, as well as concerns over the lethal injection drugs.[13] The court denied Rogers's appeal on May 9.[14]

As a last resort, Rogers's attorneys appealed to the Supreme Court of the United States to stop the impending execution.[15] The Supreme Court rejected the appeal on May 14, 2025, the eve of Rogers' execution.[16]
