Ocelot II
(124,937 posts)3. "Mrs. Doubtfire" is all drag for the whole show!
So what, exactly, is the difference between a man dressing up as a woman and drag?

(34,677 posts)6. I LOVE the theater.
We don't really have it here where I live, too small here really but you can find it not too far away. This is wonderful. AND so much to choose from for the shows next season and almost for years to come! Maybe I should start playing again, the always need musicians and I do miss it.

Ocelot II
(124,937 posts)9. Maybe they could also host a production of Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro,"
in which the character of Cherubino, a teenaged boy, is sung by a woman (mezzo-soprano) dressed as a man, and in which the "boy" Cherubino dresses up as a woman. Double drag!
