2. Republicans keep calling it that to kiss Trump's ass, since those are his words...

...and the media (and this Rep) do it to mock the fact that it's far from "beautiful," and will probably cause more harm than anything driven by a U.S. president in our lifetime, but I'm with you 100% on that. I cringe when I see / hear it. Ramming it through on a straight party line "reconciliation" vote is how they got the 2017 cuts through...zero Dem votes. And doing it in the dead of night means people will be talking about whatever nonsense Trump blurts out that day, and they won't be paying attention to this.
