3. Golden opportunity for the trumpist militias

Last season they were already marching in, to provide "security," some rescues, etc., in order to try to look legit and thus gain social credit. There was coverage of some internal communications stating this as an explicit plan. (If I find the link or DU thread, I'll add it.)

Over time, this could enable militias and similar right-wing groups to get some of the state money that will be earmarked for projects formerly administrated at the federal level. Expect more cronyism, corruption, skimming, racism, and abuses of civil rights to follow
