All the crap stories coming out faster than they can be reported...corruption, slippery deals, questionnable legislation, outright devious backroom shenanigans...it doesn't stop. Just a handfull, guys like Pete Buttigieg, are the only ones shouting out. Where the hell are the American people? The ones that voted for Harris. Your Medicaid is being demolished, Social Security being hollowed out, and all you do is whine? Legal types must figure out something and fast! And People have to get together and protest loudly. NOW!!

(15,184 posts)... she showed dozens of protests across the country. She does it again weekly.
I don't know how people can yell any louder. The problem is that no one that matters is listening.

Look, I understand your frustration, but calling out a "forum" isn't helpful.

(492 posts)I sent Jen Saki this message: Cause we do not want or need a pudent to scare to say the truth. "Jen you sound like someone who praises trump. You are so neutral, what you say is offensive to non trumpers. So afraid of being fired, you say nothing. So disgusted with pretend journalist protecting trumpism.

(10,198 posts)She went through a list of Karoline Leavitts lies from a press conference and corrected every one of them. I thought it was great and hope she will keep doing that segment. I cant see how anyone would think she is praising Krasnov.
She isnt Rachel, but she is on our side.

Have you participated in any of the thousands of protests which are happing around the country? The next major one I am aware of is June 15. (There have been at least two major protests and one minor one since the first of April.) Are you reading original source documents to inform yourself (court documents, bills introduced in congress, etc.)? Are you speaking with friends and neighbors to help inform them? Are you regularly writing and/or calling your senators and congressmen? (Just a few of the things I'm doing, in addition to posting here.)

(109,899 posts)and start looking for those that discuss our wins in court (ACLU, DEM State AGs, other Dem organizations, Marc Elias, and others), those that include the investigative and fully informed come-backs as our DEMs take on Admin appointees before congressional committees, and especially those which detail the protests throughout the country, including those upcoming.
Take on one or all of those to heart and find those that inspire you to action and do it. There is nothing better for unrelenting frustration than taking action oneself. Really.
It isn't this forum that is the problem. It is a tool and what we do with it is up to us.

Alongside local organizers, partners, and leaders from across the pro-democracy and pro-worker movements, activists across the country will come together for marches, rallies, and demonstrations to reject corrupt, authoritarian politics in the United States.
This mobilization is inspired by the success of Hands Off! and May Day and is intended to once again motivate actions in towns and cities in every state in the country. Over 100 events have already been registered all over the country, and more will be added here...
